House buying in the UK is a long slow process you endure through a process called conveyancing.
Those who carry out this function are obdurate, process driven, lack any empathy, have no concept of customer service, have never heard of the word urgent. And they charge you thousands of pounds for the pleasure of ignoring you, never replying to emails and making outrageous mistakes they never acknowledge or apologise for.
We are about 60% through it. Until it’s done and I have my office up and running and a place to write, I’m off line. But I will be back.
